Dynamic Solutions International, LLC (DSI), a data storage technology innovator, announced it has partnered with Help/Systems, a world leader in systems and network management, security and business intelligence software, to provide an innovative Virtual Tape Library (VTL) backup solution for IBM iSeries customers. Under the terms of the channel partner agreement, DSI is integrating Help/Systems media management software, Robot/SAVE, with its VTL storage technology to provide iSeries customers with a virtualized storage solution.

iSeries customers will benefit from the significant cost savings and greater reliability DSI's VTL solution provides by knowing data backups are performed as scheduled and with unparalleled ease of data recall. The uniqueness of the DSI and Help/Systems partnership allows for a customized backup solution inclusive of training and 24/7 service and support.

"We identified the market need for an automated backup solution and knew we could leverage our many years of experience working with other mainframe environments and transfer that knowledge to the iSeries marketplace," said Leo Salvaggio, vice president of sales, DSI. "Partnering with Help/Systems was critical in enabling us to bring this much needed storage solution to market and we are looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship with them."

By joining the Help/Systems partner program, DSI is able to assist customers who have IBM iSeries hosts by providing a hardware backup system with an integrated suite of media management software from Help/Systems.

"Help/Systems is excited to welcome DSI into the channel partner program," said Anna Deuel, program manager, Help/Systems. "Both companies share customer service as a core value, and our complementary products, like Robot/SAVE, really speak to that by providing powerful options for customers to handle backup, recovery and encryption."

The new VTL solution for iSeries is now available. For more information, contact Leo Salvaggio, DSI's vice president of sales at 303-754-2085 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
