Surround Technologies today announced the release of Version 6.4 of Envision Accelerator for Visual Lansa. Envision Accelerator 6.4 offers over a dozen new features that focus on making applications built with Accelerator even more usable, flexible and better performing, all while allowing the Developer to deliver code on-time and under budget.

Continuing to deliver significant feature updates has become rather habitual at Surround, as Version 6.4 comes on the heels of Version 6.3, offered in September of 2006. In fact, Accelerator 6.4 marks the sixth dot release to Envision Accelerator in the past two years alone. Especially as that cycle included the major 6.0 release, the pace represents nothing short of an astonishing accomplishment.

SurroundÆs Chief Information Officer, Derek Maciak, deflects the praise and credits SurroundÆs customers, ôWhen you work closely with customers as we do, and if youÆre really listening, youÆll always have a wellspring of new enhancement ideas. So a lot of the product direction decisions are customer-driven, and that makes it easy to focus on delivering it to them.ö

Surround Technologies CEO Lee Paul insists that it has become part of SurroundÆs DNA, saying, ôBeing continually responsive to client needs is so important to us. Our long term success will be based on it, and weÆre proud of the way our team constantly offers our customers more value.ö

Version 6.4 of Envision Accelerator is available now and is distributed exclusively through Surround Technologies. A detailed new feature list is available at www.SurroundTech.com.
