PlanetJ Corp. has released V6.5.05 of Web Object Wizard (WOW), the rapid application development tool and runtime engine that allows iSeries users the ability to easily access data stored in any relational database. WOW allows users to create Web applications that access DB2, UDB, Oracle, SQL Server, and other databases. WOW is written 100 percent in Java, is platform independent, and runs on top of IBM WebSphere or WAS Express, or Apache Tomcat. Developers using WOW can create applications rapidly with no need to learn Java or other Web development skills.

Along with the previous award-winning features, V6.5.05 has many new features that enable users a more user friendly UI-like AJAX auto complete function, context-menu row actions, default actions from directly clicking on a row, hover styles that allow users to change the look and feel of returned rows through CSS, and many more features.  Developers will love the new edit operations button and dynamic theme icons to allow the look and feel to change on the fly, the company says. Numerous enhancements have been added to the base package of WOW, and all are covered in the WOW release notes that can be found at Release Notes.

PlanetJ Corp. also has released V1.1 of WOWFusion Charts. WOWFusion Charts integrate seamlessly with WOW applications to create slick dynamic dashboards and other visual presentations of your data that will undoubtedly "WOW" your users. More charts have been added to make users' reporting and dashboard capabilities more powerful and descriptive than before. More info can be found at PlanetJ's Web site, http://www.planetjavainc.com/wow/
