"Technology is the backbone of our business, which means project management around systems development must be rock solid," says Sam Peterson, Senior Vice President, Information Technology, Overstock.com. "MKS's application lifecycle management platform gives us high levels of project control, process standardization and real time visibility that should help us to squeeze inefficiencies and unnecessary costs out of the development process and enable our development team to focus on innovating."

"Overstock.com's development team is on the technology leading edge in the retail sector, connecting software innovation to customer satisfaction on a daily basis. MKS's single platform solution for ALM is an ideal management platform for cutting edge development shops. We are pleased to welcome Overstock.com to our swelling ranks of retail clientele including such well known names as Barnes & Noble, The Dressbarn, Timberland and Tiffany's," says Michael Harris, MKS President and COO.

A webinar with Overstock will take place on February 15th, 2007, and features Jim Abbott, IT Security Officer & Senior Project Manager at Overstock.com.

This presentation will provide real-life examples of process improvement, risk management, cascading and technical requirements management, bug tracking, e-signature validation and triggers.
