Applied Logic Corp., developer of AS/400 and Power Systems programmer productivity software, announces the release of V19 of its database tool FEU, File Edit Utility.

First introduced to the AS/400 market in 1988, the popular FEU product has been continually upgraded to better serve the needs of its thousands of users in more than 100 countries worldwide.

In addition to the cumulative capabilities of all previous releases, new features of FEU V19 include:

  • Formatting of numeric fields when printing selected records
  • Zip file conversion to CSV, TXT or XML formats
  • Save-a-custom-file view for full-screen or single-record display
  • Work with DBCS spool files
  • Cumulative product PTFs and updates
  • IBM i 7.1 compatibility
  • New printed and electronic user manual

FEU V19 is available as a free, no-obligation demo available for download after registering at www.alcsoftware.com/feu or by calling 1-800-588-8695. Licensing is $995 for a regular license or $1,895 for an LPAR license. Upgrades are available for existing users of FEU, DFU or other database tools.
