New features to support IBM UrbanCode Deploy and general DevOps usage scenarios include these:

  • Integration with UrbanCode Deploy
  • Usability improvements
  • RAM library services via native client: YUM, RPM,  Ant library, and Maven

 

Also, there is updated support for many existing platforms and integrations.

 

Rational Asset Manager V7.5.2 includes IBM WebSphere Application Server V8.0, and IBM DB2 Enterprise Server Edition V10.1. You can choose to use other application server and database platforms, but for convenience and optimized use, these are included. The DB2 technology is designed to manage data more effectively and efficiently. Greater availability is delivered through enhancements such as online, automated database reorganization. In addition, the increased scalability and the ability to leverage the latest in server technology helps deliver increased performance of backup and recovery processes.
