Surround Technologies has announced it will participate in COMMON 's 2009 Annual Meeting and Exposition in Reno, Nev., April 26-30, while the company said it also is renewing its corporate membership in the COMMON organization. This continues longstanding support of the world's largest user group of IBM midrange users.
Surround Technologies' support for the COMMON annual meeting will include obtaining a booth in the Exhibition Hall, contracted advertising in the Expo and Pocket Guides, and participation in events and sessions. The presence at the Expo, in Reno's Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, will also provide Surround Technologies with an opportunity to show its users its collection of rapidly expanding tools for application development.
Surround Technologies CEO Lee Paul said, "We love continuing to support the educational and knowledge-sharing events of COMMON. Its 22,000-plus IBM-centric members have always been the primary market for our software tools. That has never been more true than today as we offer an array of new tools that connect everything, are ever-adaptable, and deliver amazing productivity at both the developer and user level."
Surround Technologies also announced that it will attend the looksoftware Application Modernization Conference the week before COMMON at the same venue. Attendees to either event who wish to prearrange private meetings with a Surround Technologies representative are encouraged to contact the company and schedule early.
