Technology professionals share experiences applying enterprise monitoring solutions to help meet current cost and regulatory challenges.

Tango/04 Computing Group, developer of software solutions for enterprise monitoring, business service management (BSM), IT security, compliance, and operations monitoring held its Tango/04 Monitoring Symposium May 7 in Barcelona. The annual event that the company has been hosting for more than three years in Europe and Latin America presented the latest news on the field of monitoring technologies that provide greater visibility to processes.

The event took place in the Hotel W Barcelona and was titled, “News and Challenges for Total Visibility.” The attendees were able to listen to user success stories of corporate monitoring from leading companies in different industries. Among the more notable case studies were:

  • CC&G, a clearing and guarantee agency that is part of London Stock Exchange Group and uses Tango/04 BSM solutions to assess operational risk autonomously in real time and ensure the accuracy of derivatives' closing prices at the end of every day
  • Pierre Fabre Ibérica, which aligned IT and business, tripled its effectiveness without increasing its staff, and improved its response times by monitoring its infrastructure and security as well as its business processes, all with one solution
  • Sligro, the largest food wholesaler in the Netherlands, which controls its most critical business processes automatically and continuously, providing higher availability and significant savings of time and resources, increasing the company’s profits
  • Nike, which last year described the use of Tango/04’s corporate monitoring solution to manage the most critical logistic business services for its regional warehouse in Belgium, and this year presented an update on the project, which has not only been improved, but is now managed autonomously and continues being implemented around the globe.

More than 100 CIOs and other technology professionals from several leading European companies attended. Attendees expressed their satisfaction with Tango/04 products, as well as the outcome of the seminar.

"A great presentation, state-of-the-art clients, an incomparable environment, and the best of all—the hosts," commented José Luis Aragón, of Integración Avanzada (Ingenia) as he summed up the seminar.

The Tango/04 Monitoring Symposium has already been held seven times in Europe and Latin America. Its next date is June 4 in the luxury Hotel Sofitel La Reserva Cardales in Buenos Aires, where Banco Votorantim, Banco Galicia and Zurich will share their success stories with other attendees.

Raul Cristian Aguirre, CEO and founder of Tango/04, spoke of the latest news about products and some examples of current projects that combine IT monitoring with business activity monitoring (BAM) and operational business intelligence (BI).
