Ricardo Ang of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada is the lucky winner of the MC Press Online Author Profile and Biography drawing. Ric, who is a self-employed systems administrator and AS/400 operator under contract with a large international services provider, got to choose any book he wanted from the collection of titles offered at the MC Press Online Store.

MC Press Online held a drawing recently of authors who submitted revised profiles and/or photos to be published alongside future articles they write. As an incentive for taking the time to help update its records of past and current authors done in conjunction with the launch of the company's Web site, MC Press Online held a drawing in which the winner could pick any book he or she wished from the extensive collection of titles offered by the MC Press Online Store. Ric, an avid RPG programmer, chose "The RPG Programmer's Guide to RPG IV and ILE," by Richard Shaler and Robin Klima.

Ric was among some two dozen authors who sent in updated information. Authors who may not have returned current bios and photos in time for the drawing still can do so and are urged to take a minute to send in their updated contact information to MC Press Online. Many industry authors have written for MC Press Online publications including  MC iApplication Designer, MC iTechnology Manager, MC Systems Insight, MC TNT tips 'n techniques, MC RPG Developer, and the since discontinued Midrange Computing and Showcase could be hard to reach if their email was associated with their company and they since have changed jobs. The specifics of how to write for MC Press Online may be found at http://www.mcpressonline.com/write-for-mc-press.html. All former authors, who have not already done so, should send their updated email addresses and bio information, with photos, to Victoria Mack, Executive Editor, at This email address is being protected from spambots.
