Dubbed an "economic stimulus package," the promotion offers half off the cost of one conference and a discount on another when registering for both.

COMMON has told its members it is offering a special "Economic Stimulus Package" that allows users to take advantage of special pricing for signing up for both its upcoming Directions/Focus conference and the 2010 Annual Meeting and Exposition—COMMON's 50th Anniversary Celebration. The offer is also valid if two different people from the same company attend each conference.

"This special stimulus package allows you or others from your company to attend the Directions/Focus 2009 conference event at a discount of 50 percent and also save $200 off the registration at the 2010 Annual Meeting and Exposition," COMMON said in a statement. This "unprecedented combination offer" ensures that you save substantially now, and continue to save into 2010 while maximizing your education investment, the statement said. COMMON recognizes the importance of education and staying current with skills in today's workplace, and especially in this economy, the organization noted. Register by Sept. 14 to take advantage of the special stimulus pricing.

To take advantage of this offer, register at the below Web site using the special PDF registration form. Learn more about the special pricing offer at http://www.common.org/focdir/stimulus.html.
