Insight is NetApp's annual global technical conference dedicated to the company's pre- and post-sales system engineers, professional services consultants, and channel partners, offering the opportunity to communicate timely technical topics and interact with product engineering and experts. Insight events provide early previews of next-generation solutions, as well as in-depth technical training to enable partners and employees to accelerate business breakthroughs with NetApp.

During NetApp Insight EMEA in Dublin, Asigra will feature the company's latest generation software, Asigra Cloud Backup v12.2. Version 12.2 provides users with the ability to extend their end-to-end backup solution to automatically protect Google Apps. The new version allows companies to maintain access to important business information, even as data is being stored in the Cloud on Google Apps. All email, calendar, contact, document, and site-based data are recoverable in the event of loss, with both local and remote recovery available.

The company will also showcase the Asigra Recovery License Model (RLM) for backup and recovery. The new recovery-based pricing model is based on a low, limited recovery cost so that backup technology expenditures remain affordable even as data volumes rise. Those who adopt this fair pricing model can anticipate immediate savings of 40% and long term savings of up to 70%. The revolutionary model keeps backup and recovery costs under control over time, even with the trend of rapid data growth showing no signs of slowing down.

"Along with the rest of the world, Western Europe is experiencing high rates of data growth that is being driven by endpoint devices, social media and the Cloud," said Eran Farajun, Executive Vice President, Asigra. "At NetApp Insight EMEA we will directly address how this growth is impacting backup infrastructure and costs and demonstrate innovative solutions to meet these challenges. We look forward to seeing NetApp partner attendees during the event and supporting their business objectives in this area."
