HiT Software, a leading provider of real-time data integration, data synchronization, and data access products has announced the availability of Allora version 5, a set of design tools and a runtime engine enabling secure XML-to-database mapping and bidirectional transformation.
With Allora V.5, HiT Software has introduced the Allora Workflow Manager, a graphical layout environment designed for creating, scheduling, and executing a group of RDB-XML transformation and related XML file management tasks.
The Workflow Manager has a design and a runtime component. The design tab provides a workspace for adding tasks, setting parameters, and organizing tasks in execution order. The runtime tab provides a detailed explanation of the results of performing transformations in the workflow.
This unique combination of Mapper and Workflow Manager allows a user to map even the most sophisticated XML schemas, such as JusticeXML or HL7, and to deploy the solution without writing any code, the company says. With the release of Allora Workflow Manager, the Allora Suite solidifies its position in bridging XML and databases, regardless of the database platform.
"With Allora Workflow Manager we have filled a market need for a graphical tool to design, schedule, and run complex XML-RDB transformations," said Giacomo Lorenzin, CEO of HiT Software. "Now companies can use a single product, Allora, to implement processes that allow XML to be the lingua franca for data exchange but still rely on corporate databases to store the data."
Allora 5 is certified to work with 19 different databases, from the most common ones such as Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL to others used in vertical applications.
