Pete Elliot has been a marketing executive with Key Information Systems, a Premier IBM Business Partner, since its inception in 1999.

Pete created the Key Free University to provide Webinars on critical IT topics within the IBM midrange market. More recently, he devised focused Solution Centers for Key's Web site to concentrate resources in areas including Blades/Virtualization, VoIP, IT Security, High Availability, and Fault Tolerance. Prior to joining Key, Pete was a sales executive in the IBM midrange for Chase Manhattan Bank, Duracell, and Kraft Foods.

Over the past 15 years, Elliot has built and managed sales channels, selling teams and marketing programs that have produced highly profitable results for various IBM Business Partners in North America that offer products supported on the Linux, UNIX, OS/400, i5/OS, and Windows operating systems.

Elliot has worked extensively with executive management of computer manufacturers, including IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Micro Systems, and Intel. He has served on the IBM Business Partner Marketing Advisory Board since 2002.

A graduate of Syracuse University, he is a longstanding member of the Writers Guild of America. Pete volunteers with a number of Los Angeles charitable organizations and supports activities and organizations for teenagers, including the Boy Scouts of America. He lives in Woodland Hills, California , with his wife and two children.
