Latest version allows for sending encrypted email with documents and data compressed and password protected.

RJS Software Systems (www.rjssoftware.com) has released WebDocs 3.19 giving the iSeries version of the company’s flagship document management software enhanced email, printing, and image management capabilities.

The new version of WebDocs expands upon the product’s built-in outbound email and routing features by adding the ability to send encrypted email. Documents and data can now be compressed and password protected, ensuring that sensitive information can be securely emailed. Additional enhancements include an improved ability to send emails to multiple addresses and send emails that include multiple attachments.

The new release also provides the ability to perform “background printing” from within the product, meaning users can continue working in WebDocs or on other tasks while long print jobs take place. The new version of the software also includes an update to the WebDocs imaging client, which improves user controls and the ability to view and save large, memory-intensive TIFF and PDF documents.
