Partnership is expected to strengthen IntelliChief's relationship with the Infinium user community.
IntelliChief LLC, a document management solution provider to Infor and provider of paperless solutions for users of the IBM i (System i, iSeries, AS/400) and IBM Power Systems, has announced a new partnership with Desert Spring Consultants, Inc.
Desert Spring Consultants of Henderson, Nevada, is an independent Infinium Software consulting company, which specializes in the support, training, and custom development of the Infor Infinium product line. Desert Spring Consultants supports clients through all facets of Infor Infinium applications on the iSeries (AS/400).
IntelliChief's paperless process management (PPM) solutions seamlessly integrate with the Infor Infinium system. Implementing PPM allows the iSeries and Infinium's Premium and Advantage solutions all to work together sending and receiving business documents including purchase orders, invoices, authorization forms, purchase requisitions, inventory transfer orders, credit memos, quotes, and order acknowledgements.
With PPM, users access all document management and distribution functions from within Infinium via a seamless integration and gain the functionality to automate the review, approval, and matching of transactional documents.
Michael Jasper, IntelliChief's manager of Partner Development, said that the staff at IntelliChief is excited about the new partnership. “We feel that our new partnership with Desert Spring Consultants, Inc. further strengthens our commitment to the Infinium user community," Jasper said. "Desert Spring Consultants, Inc. has a longstanding knowledge of the Infinium product, and our new partnership allows both our organizations to serve the customer base more effectively,” he said.
TAWPI Fusion Conference
Meanwhile, IntelliChief said it was honored to have showcased its products at the industry’s premier work process improvement show, TAWPI Fusion.
An increasing number of organizations are motivated to have their Accounts Payable departments become paperless, as paper-based AP procedures are inherently problematic due to potential human errors, security issues, and the susceptibility to paper loss or destruction, according to IntelliChief.
A number of these organizations that have already implemented IntelliChief in AP participated in exhibits and visited the IntelliChief booth at TAWPI Fusion 2012. TAWPI Fusion is the premier event for financial operations professionals and took place in Nashville May 13-17. IntelliChief presented its paperless process management solutions and advised companies on how to go paperless so as to take control of invoice processing. As more and more financial departments go paperless, IntelliChief expects future opportunities to present its document management product line at shows like TAWPI Fusion.
IntelliChief users notice processes like shuffling around invoices, approvals, and filing paperwork are now streamlined due to going electronic, allowing for easier accessibility, quicker turnaround, and higher efficiency, according to the company. “IntelliChief users find their AP department is able to control payment of invoices, take advantage of vendor discounts, and have visibility to outstanding invoices,” says Michael Rooney, IntelliChief's vice president of Sales and Marketing.
Processes that used to be manual are now automated with IntelliChief. Invoices are received automatically via fax and are electronically sorted and distributed. Approvals are routed to the correct inbox, vouchers are entered automatically, while invoices are archived based on set rules, the company points out. Processes like searching for documentation and orders are based on a simple search function to make resolving discrepancies an easy process.
A major advantage that IntelliChief has is its seamless integration with countless applications allowing its users to find and retrieve documents directly from their desktops or ERP screens, says the company. Users realize immediate access to purchase orders, acknowledgements, statements, and receive documents, invoices, and checks directly from their familiar computer screens, the company notes.
Financial departments looking for electronic workflow that are interested in a paperless environment can find a vast amount of information on document management at the IntelliChief Web site.
