  • Enhanced household grouping: Ability to create households or other groupings in an automated fashion, leveraging probabilistic matching algorithms.
  • Stewardship Center enhancements
    • Collaborative stewardship for virtual MDM-style implementations: Stewardship Center has expanded capabilities for virtual MDM-style implementations to include probabilistic search, potential duplicate task management, and advanced relationship and hierarchy visualization.
    • Enhancements for Stewardship Center for physical-style MDM deployments: These include coverage for Account (Contract) domain and support for groupings (search, view, create, and maintain), including households and enhanced hierarchy functionality (history time slider, multiple hierarchies management, and support of orphan nodes).
  • Support in Collaborative Edition for Supplier Focused persona: Improved productivity through usability enhancements targeted at the individual or individuals in an organization that focuses on supplier-related activities.
  • Reference Data Management enhancements: Enhanced Batch Import now supports importing of reference data sets with compound keys and reference data set value translations. This enables performance enhancements for hierarchies and map lists as well as better control over sort options.
  • Ubuntu addition: Ubuntu is a supported operating system environment.

 

InfoSphere Master Data Management V11.6, when used with the latest version of the IBM DB2® database, offers enhanced data protection, scalability, and performance for database-intensive operations. Version 11.6 is designed to manage data more effectively and efficiently. DB2 delivers greater availability through enhancements such as online, automated database reorganization. In addition, the increased scalability and ability to leverage the latest in DB2 server technology help deliver increased performance of backup and recovery processes, benefiting InfoSphere Master Data Management deployments.
