The newest release from SEQUEL Software offers user-friendly, modern interface on the PC and web
SEQUEL Software, a division of HelpSystems and the provider of true data empowerment for business users, today announced a modern, user-friendly update to their powerful data access and reporting interfaces: ViewPoint and SEQUEL Web Interface.
This new update features enhanced navigation, a streamlined, modern look and feel, and user-friendly toolbars—making it even easier to use. The newly refreshed interface comes from customer recommendations and a desire to show continued improvement to an industry leading iSeries data access and reporting tool.
“I’m very excited about the new update,” says Max Valdman, IT Manager at The HammockSource. “It looks better. It looks cleaner. People will be able to get up to speed more quickly when they first interact with SEQUEL.”
SEQUEL Client Tables (pivot tables) are now available to use in SEQUEL Web Interface. From the browser, users can analyze data interactively, expand or roll-up data dimensions, slice-and-dice data by adding or taking away fields, and even drill down to details. Users can also group and subtotal/sum data right from the browser.
Vice President of Technical Services, Tom Huntington says, “End users are going to benefit greatly from this update. This new functionality gives data analysts the power they need to make decisions without installing additional software on their PC.”
HelpSystems offers a free, 30-day trial of SEQUEL. The trial includes full product access and free support.
